The location of the B&B is fantastic, situated on a platform atop the bluff, offering a breathtaking view of the river. The house itself is enormous with spacious bedrooms, including the River View room which offers a great view. The staff is friendly and treats guests like family. Breakfast is served in a nearby building, and the coffee is excellent. there is a common area available for parties and gatherings.

The management and catering for weddings is unreliable and lacks communication.

They were helpful before, during, and after my visit, making me feel truly taken care of. Additionally, the basic amenities provided were top-notch and the room I stayed in was huge and well-furnished. It was a delight to wake up to the outstanding view of the Mississippi River every morning. And I must mention the breakfast - the cook sure knows how to make grits! It was by far the best I've ever had, and I've grown up in the South. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quiet and wonderful stay.
